Becker’s Chalets
Jasper Alberta
Becker’s Chalets sits just south of Jasper along the Icefields Parkway, with rustic cabins and log chalets set right by the Athabasca River. The property has a mix of simple rooms and full chalets with kitchens, fireplaces, and mountain views, plus wheelchair-accessible options. It’s a quiet spot that feels close to nature, and it’s been family-run for decades. The on-site restaurant overlooks the river and serves breakfast and dinner with options for different diets.
The resort is known for its scenic setting and relaxed atmosphere, making it a good fit for couples, families, and groups who want space and a comfortable base for exploring Jasper National Park. Recent wildfire damage in 2024 affected a small portion of the property, but most buildings and the restaurant were unharmed. Guests generally appreciate the peaceful location, the flexibility of having kitchens in many units, and the classic lodge feel.
